Dennis Joseph Colvin's Obituary
Dennis was born in Wamego, Kansas. He passed the night of December 12, 2022 with his family by his side at Ogden Regional Hospital. He was an organ donor so helped other families. Dennis graduated high school as Grossmont High in San Diego. He met Michelle in June of 2005 in San Diego. Later moved to Roy, Utah with Michelle. He worked as a drywaller for 40+ years. He has a daughter, Olivia Colvin and son-in-law, Jesse Cole. He has a step daughter, Corinna Wade and step-son-in-law, Daniel Wade, step-son, Deven Rantz, and step daughter-in-law, Candice Rantz, step-son, Travis Ring, step-daughter-in-law, Julie Ring. Two granddaughters, Amilia Cole and Harley Rantz. He also left behind sister, Darlene Colvin, her spouse Linda Miller, sister Donna Thompson, and brother-in-law, Antonio Sanfillippo.
He has joined his brother, Edward the 3rd, his sister, Victoria Sanfillippo, and his mother, Cahterine. He has 5 nephews, Brian Colvin, Cory Thompson, Cody Thompson, and Shant Thompson. He has two nieces, Rosa Sanfilippo and Kathrine Sanfilippo.
Dennis loved trips to Vegas where he would meet up with his daughter usually at a pool or the lazy river. He coached his daughter and step-daughter in soccer and continues to coach even when the girls stopped playing. He loved to take Michelle shopping even if it was just to window shop. He also loved taking his dog, Bear, to the dog park where he would spend a couple of hours a day. Dennis will be deeply missed by all.
