Many years ago I had the privilege of being an aide to Dianne at Taylorsville Elementary. Because of her example and passion for teaching, I pursued getting my teaching certificate and I owe it to Dianne. The students adored her and I know she was well-liked and respected by her colleagues. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Dear Penny, Ron an I are so sad to hear that you have lost your dear sister. She filled many young men's bellies and gave them a sympathetic ear to listen to them when there Mom's weren't around to talk to. Wish we had been better at keeping in contact. Your in our prayers. Love Ron and Julene Sanders
It was an honor to work with Dianne as a fellow educator in Granite School District. Dianne was uplifting, gracious and most certainly invested in the students she taught. What a happy person she was. The education community has lost a valuable professional who, over the course of three decades, positively impacted and improved the lives of so many. Dianne will be missed but fondly remembered.
Dear Pennie and family,
My heart aches to hear about Dianne. She was truly an amazing and sweet soul. She was such a good example and so kind to me. I am so grateful for my knowledge of the gospel and the fact that she is now in good hands. I know we will see our loved ones again. I know that as we look to our savior, he can provide the comfort and help that we need to get through the difficult times in our life.
Lots of love and prayers, Shandi Wardle
Dear Pennie, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Dianne. She was one of the most amazing women. I know she will be greatly missed because she blessed the lives of all she came into contact with. Please know my prayers are with you. Ellen
Almost 45 years ago, when I was a very shy and backward 13-year-old, Diane, then an older teenager, was the first person to welcome me to MIA in Lansing, Michigan. She made me feel like I was important to her, then and always after. What a great soul.
Dear Pennie, I'm so sorry for the loss of Dianne. I know how close you were and how very much you will miss her. May your sweet memories bring you comfort. Love, June
