I met Dottie at Pineview Transitional Care. We became fast friends when she realized she had worked at Harrisville Walmart with my daughter and son-in-law. She was a lot of fun and I was extremely sad when I heard of her passing.

Ditties was an amazing person! I worked with her at the Harrisville Walmart for 5 years! I had so much love for her I left the store and she tracked me down to ensure she gave me going away presents! Which included a picture of my most hated area to zone the t-shirt wall it was mounted and framed with all the associates signatures around it. She has a special place in my heart I would call the store all the time to check on her and when I went in there to shop I made sure to find her. I'm sorry for your lose she will definitely be missed!

Kim and family, we're so sorry for your loss. Dottie was truly one of a kind! She had such an impact on both coworkers and customers. Some of "her" customers come in and ask specifically for her, she always knew how to find them what they were looking for. And hearing special stories from so many coworkers over the last week it seems like she has touched everyone at one point in time. Your Wal-mart friends will forever miss you Dottie!! We Love You!!
i was a people greeter at walmart when the greeters were in the foyer. dottie would go out at night to have a smoke and i told her it was not safe for her to be outside so she came up with a small camping light and when she came back in i told her i would be the keeper of the lite. i had a small table with a drawer in it and i would keep it in there and when she walked by to go outside i wound turn on the light and give it to her and when she was done i would take it, turn it off and put it back in the drawer.
she gave me a little walmart man with a flash light for christmas and i still have it and it is my profile picture on facebook in memory of the awsome lady that has passed on who gave it to me
Ms. Dottie reminds me of a hummingbird. I worked with her years ago in Walmart. Even after i left I would still see her and stop and chit chat. I am sorry for her family's loss, but i am also relieved that she is able to put her wings to rest. She deserves a rest. I will miss her!!!

Dottie was always the most caring, funniest, loving woman I knew ! She good light up a room by just being there! She was always there for me, with the best advice ever! Fly high my sweet Angel. Till we meet again! Love, Carmen Mitchell❤️❤️
I knew Dot for about 37 years now. It seems unbelievable it has been that long. That is how long I have been friends with her "baby" Ron. I first met her when Ron had me over for dinner when I was 19. Roy made Chinese food and at the table everyone had forks to eat with and I was given chopsticks! Then a little while later, during my party days, there was a party at the Littles, I danced with Roy, drank a lot, and after I lost my lunch on my dress Dot proceeded to undress me down to my slip and clean me up in front of everyone. During the years of hanging out at the Yorba house, visiting in Twin Peaks, and her visits to see Ron in Arkansas she just became Mom. She was always fun to be around and feisty described her perfectly. She fought hard, but now she can rest. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. And Dot, don't worry, I will keep an eye on Ron for you! Love, Lora Jones
