Dorothy Irene Holmes' Obituary
Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother
Widowed at 34, our mother always worked hard to raise her family of four, and was always there for us. She was up early to help us get ready for school. She always had dinner ready for us and helped us with homework before putting us to bed.
When we were young, we could not comprehend how much time and care she put into her family. Now that we have children of our own, we can truly appreciate the amount of effort that she put into raising us… for this we will always be appreciative.
She taught us a lot of skills that we will always cherish; most of all, how to be loving, kind and helpful to everyone you meet.
She was an amazing woman who taught us a lot about right and wrong. She always worked hard and never complained. She was always there when we needed her. She was a very special person to know. We will miss her every day until we can be with her again.
Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT 84120.
