Doug Lindsay and his sweet wife, Louise, were two of our beloved friends. We pray that Louise and her family and friends will be comforted in their great loss. Doug was a great man and always willing to provide service to us, even in his advanced years. On one occasion at about age eighty he was cutting down a tree and trimming branches at our house. We loved Doug for his kindness and quiet demeanor. We will always treasure his friendship. When he and Louise moved from Elk Ridge, we really missed them and thought of them often. Doug was a man of great faith and a good example to all of us.
I remember my dad made an archery bow for Uncle Doug. After he finished it he realized it was a right handed bow and Uncle Doug was left handed. So my dad made a lefty for Uncle Doug. I was given the right handed bow with Uncle Dougs name already ingraved into the bow. I love that bow, thanks Uncle Doug for being a lefty. Mike Roberts
