When we were young children I remember hanging out with Ed on the rare occasions that we would be together visiting our grandparents in Cambridge Nebraska. He had a gentle soul and a never-ending smile!

Ed was a near and dear friend to me, he was a great bricklayer. One of the best. I worked in 3 states and 2 countries with Ed, he was my brother and I will greatly miss him.
