I liked how she enjoyed the garden at Redeemer Valley Farm with her fun-loving daughter, Carole. She especially liked picking and eating strawberries directly from the vine. She watched out for the critters too, feeding birds, and tending the kitties. She could be depended upon to welcome every rescue or abandoned creature that came to her door. Carole and she made up cute, memorable names that made you smile. Her care for nature is her legacy. Along with her friends and family, Elaine is survived by 3 kitties: Peak-Abo Martin, Dru-ee-Lee, and Geordi McLeod. She will be dearly missed.

Candy ( Elaine Hoffman) was pledged into Kappa Delta sorority at Penn State University along with me in 1955. Everyone loved her, and we were good friends. We both married Penn State fraternity men, and ended up living in the same area in the Phila. suburbs. I believe she was one of the "beauty queens", but her real beauty was inside...I will really miss her!
