I remember when I went over to visit whenever I had braids in my hair. Or my hair was up into pig tails. He would always look at me and smile and say come here. And I'd go over and he would grab my hair and say "You got them piggytails in today come here girlfriend lemme see you, ooo they lookin cute". I would always remark with "Thankyou gramps mama did them for me". , he was the most amazing Grandpa , he was always so loving and protective of his family. I love you papa forever and always❤️

A few years ago Roy served in the library at our church on Sundays. He was always there to help. I loved stopping by to say and talk a few minutes. He loved to talk about his family and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was a wonderful man and will be missed. Our love and prayers go out to all of his family.
