I played guitar and steel guitar with Hank at Cow Town and other clubs in 1980-82. Hank was a huge influence in my development as a musician, I am forever grateful for the time I spent with him
Now 44 years later, I can still remember those weekend nights clearly..
I just learned of Hanks passing however have felt as though he had passed and was at peace on the other side. I have so many great memories of Hank. Hanks life long friendship with my uncle Gary Yates RIP is the reason Hank and I had such a unique friendship! Even as this. Was is bittersweet and my heart aches know you the pain and suffering he endured I’m also at ease knowing that his suffering is over and the real party is just beginning.
