Frank Waldes' Obituary
Frank Waldes passed on in Orem, Utah, on October 10, 2021 with his wife at his side, after fighting for his health for many months.
Celebration services will be on Saturday, October 16 at 11 am, at Orem Cemetery (1520 N 800 E, Orem, Utah).
He is survived by his beloved wife Wendy, his son Chad, his step-children Ammon, Sydney, Annie, Lizzie, T. Addison, and Aaron, his mother Ingrid and sister Astrid.
Frank was born in Germany in 1963 to Lothar and Ingrid Lewalski, and immigrated with his family to Canada in 1966, and Utah in 1977 (where they changed their unpronounceable last name). He served an LDS mission in Anaheim California. He spent many years as a facilities manager for the Atlanta Georgia Temple, and always provided for his family.
Music was his passion and he played and composed in his studio whenever he could. He loved playing with his grandchildren and they gave him joy whenever they visited.
His family and friends enjoyed his sense of humor and sharp mind and the many conversations they shared. They all knew they could count on his support and friendship whenever they needed it. He will be deeply missed.
Flowers can be sent to Orem Cemetery one hour before the services, or you can donate to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF) at diabetesresearch.org/diabetes/donations
