I first met Genie when she came to my trailer to ask if I wanted to walk with her. We became instant friends. Later, she told me "Have I got a man for you" Her cousin, Eldon, and I were not very enthusiastic, but she persisted, and now we have been married 28 years. She considered us one of her greatest accomplishments and so did we.
We love Genie so much. Her darling personality, her upbeat and uplifting heart, carried many through some difficult times. She was a very special person and it was an honor to know her.

I love and miss you so much 💓 I am so grateful for everything you did for my dad and for everything you brought to our family. You were an amazing woman who showed me i could be strong and speak my mind. I will never forget the things you taught me. I knew Genie and her sister Shaun for most all of my life as Shaun and I went to school together and I worked with Genie for a lot of years. She was always positive even when no one could see it. She was so full of life. I love her and miss her very much
