Georgina Huff's Obituary
Georgina Huff passed away Friday November 19, 2021, in her home with her husband Dan Huff by her side. She fought a 2-1/2year battle with cancer. She was a brave petite lady that put all she had into everything she did.
Genie was born on December 22, 1951, in Provo, UT to George and Shirley Frank. She was the fourth of five children, Sharon (Clark) Tebbs, Roicene Frank, Jerry (Debbie) Frank, and Shaun (Lanny) Sorensen. She loved all of them very much.
She graduated from Provo High and went to Jr College. She married Jim Fisher on July 26, 1974, Their first and only child, James Kade Fisher, was born on February 17, 1978. She loved him very much. He was her pride and joy. She taught him values, respect, and a great work ethic. These were very important to her. Genie loved all her family and friends, and did everything she could to stay in contact with all of them. She was full of spirit, and had a love for all.
Genie loved camping and walking whenever, and wherever she could. She loved to travel and see the beauty in everything. She was able to go on many cruises with some of her family and friends. She loved being out and seeing the world. Her favorite time of year was spring. She loved the new green grass, the flowers, and trees starting to bloom. She loved to see Robins and other birds first thing in the morning, and listening to them chirp. She also loved fall, and getting to see the mountains turn to a beautiful red and orange color. You could say if it had nature in it, she loved it.
Genie loved cooking holiday treats for family and friends. Christmas time was for English toffee, fruit cakes, and Christmas pudding.
She married Dan Huff on June 6, 2016, in a private ceremony. They loved to go camping, fishing, and taking rides in the T-bird. They were able to go on a couple of trips, and loved being together.
Genie worked for Burrelles Press Clipping for almost 25 years. She recently retired from there in 2018, just before she got sick. She met many people there and loved them all.
Genie is survived in death by her husband, Dan Huff, his three daughters, Dannielle, Jenniffer, and Charllotte, her son James Kade (Kadeo) Fisher, his wife Leslee, and their children, Ambree, Riley, Kailee, and Kyndree Fisher, her sister Sharon Tebbs, and her brother Jerry (Debbie) Frank. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, their children, and several uncles and cousins. I could go on for days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Shirley, and her sisters, Roicene and Shaun.
I know mom would like to thank you to all her family and friends who helped, stopped by to say hi, or who comforted her over the last three years. Family and friends were so important to Genie. She loved them all, and had a special place in her heart for everyone she knew. She had a very big heart for such a little woman.
