So sad to see this, his daughter Brittany was my best friend for many years, their house was 3 doors down from mine, Gene was always kind to me & I have so many good memories of my childhood, sleeping over at their house, going to the sandunes and so much more. R.I.P Gene!!

My dad (Dave Robinson) and Gene worked together at Ralph's automotive in Mapleton and I remember when as a kid my mom would take me and my baby sister to go see Dad at work and he'd come out to talk and then Gene would come out with his big beard and scare my sister until she cried and then he'd just laugh.
After I was all grown up I helped my wife at her work where they patterned up with BACA where I was able to visit with Gene and remind him how he would scare my sister when she was a baby.
To Gene's family, may you be comforted in your time of grieving as you morn the loss of Gene.
