my name is brett brown , husband of Theresa Hammond , ive know my wife for 10 plus years and been her husband for 2 plus, and have never met lu powell and my heart is saddend at her loss. let me explain my wife terri Hammond is a wonderful lady with great work ethics and some of her fondest memories date back to her being in foster care with lu and wally from weekly Saturday cleaning to pinball (when deserved) and more cleaning when not deserved . lus birds , lu coming to visit terri in california and building a fireplace out of her bookshelve . a few weeks ago we went to a farmers market and bought swiss chard , the night we made it, terri called lu to tell her we were eating weeds just like years ago . ill end this by saying i never met lu but i know her very well by who my wife is today
