Glenda L. Petereit, 69, of Lehi, Utah, passed away Sunday, April 26th, 2020, with her family by her side.
She was born to parents, James W. & Essie V. Kittoe, Sept 17th, 1950 in Dodgeville, Wisc. Glenda graduated from Cuba City High School in 1968.
Glenda is survived by her husband; Robert E. Petereit married in 1980. She is also survived by her 3 children: Dawn M. Huntley (spouse Mark A. Barrett), of Willis, Texas; David R. Petereit, of Lehi, Utah; and Danalee R. Webb (spouse James P. Webb) of Harker Heights, Texas. Glenda is also survived by 4 granddaughters; Cheyenne (spouse Kody Davis); Baylee, Hadlee and Kinlee. Brother, James Kittoe of Mesquite, NV. and sister, Jane Swanson of Argyle, Wisc , as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Peterson.
Glenda loved spending time with family, playing games around the table and laughing. Her laughter would lead to a snort then to more laughter with tears, it was contagious. Glenda was a devoted wife and companion to Bob for 39 years and one of their favorite activities was dancing. She was a very proud Mom and Grandma. She treasured spoiling her family; it gave her a reason to go shopping, not that she needed one. She enjoyed visiting with friends, gardening and there wasn’t a home project she couldn’t do. She had a giving nature and her thoughtfulness was heart felt. She will be greatly missed.
At this time, the family will not be holding a memorial service and we thank everyone for their continued thoughts and prayers.
