I had the privilege of being a close friend to Dave for about 60 years. It was when he was a police officer in Jackson, MS that he, David Olson and I rode together and their duties as police officers gave me some inspiration to make a career in law enforcement. We all loved and appreciated Dave. He will be missed.
Dave has always been a great example of Christ like love. This trait has been passed on to his amazing children.
