Glenn David Adams' Obituary
Glenn David Adams (1954–2024)
Utah bids farewell to a beloved soul. Glenn David Adams, age 70, slipped into eternal rest on March 24, 2024, cradled by the gentle embrace of sleep. His legacy, woven with courage and compassion, lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.
David was born on February 13, 1954, in Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa, Florida, to George Adams and Glenda Adams.
In 1973, David embarked on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in South Africa. His purpose was to share faith, compassion, and hope with others
David donned the uniform of a police officer—first with the Jackson Mississippi Police Department, where he confronted the rigors of law enforcement in the heart of Mississippi. Later, he continued his service at the Brigham Young University Police Department in Provo, UT. His commitment to safety and order extended beyond the precincts, leading him to become the Security Director at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah.
David is survived by his three children: Ethan Blase, Mary (Trevor) Freckleton, and Matthew (Erica) Adams, as well as four grandchildren.
David is preceded in death by his parents George and Glenda Adams, his brother Gregory Keith Adams, and son David Wayne Adams.
Funeral services will honor his life on Saturday, April 13, at 12:00, within the sacred walls of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lindon, Utah, 1051 E 200 S Lindon Utah 84042. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM till noon on the same day.
