Our mother Ruby gave Gary the option to name me if I was a boy and Beverly, the option to name me if I was a girl i’ll always cherries. My name Zachary
Gary is a very big part of why I am who I am today Gary was always kind, honest, humble, and generous. He was always there for our mother and took amazing care of her my whole life whether it be working tirelessly at our old house on 1013 Woodside in Park city he rebuilt the whole front porch and stairs put a roof on the house. I helped him dig out the basement 5 gallon buckets at a time we built the rock walls in front of the house. The left side is still standing today. He always set a good example for me on work ethics, Many amazing camping, hunting, and fishing trips we built a soapbox derby car that I raced on the Fourth of July two years running got first place both years he loved our family, our mother, our uncles, and our aunts always shared amazing fond memories of them with me. I want to always work on cars like he did. He had some really cool cars throughout the years But one of my most cherish memories I have of my brother Gary, is how amazing selfless he really was is working side-by-side with me taking care of our mother at her home, In Taylorsville feeding bathing and changing her keeping her comfortable in her final years and it breaks my heart to know that he succumb to his illnesses, but there will be no more struggling or suffering for him
