The last month of Isaac living in the Inn Between Home, he received packages and cards. Every time he got one, he would have a big smile on his face and say "I bet I know where this came from...Georgia". This is because cousins from Georgia, Sarah, Veronica, and Vicky, and their families wanted Isaac to have some cheer and for perhaps for a moment forget his pain. Let me tell you the first thing after reading the card, he would go out of his room and share all the goodies, of course he would have one or two and I would get one or two, but the rest were for those who never received a care package in their life. I knew Issaac through working at The INN Between and i’m so grateful to have gotten to know him. He had such a lighthearted, caring energy that brought smiles to all that knew him. He had a quick wit with a contagious laugh and smile. What will always stick with me is his generosity, positivity, consideration of others, and giving nature. What a beautiful tribute to the life and character of Issaac. He was truly a special soul. Praying for all of his family in this time. I know he is up there drawing all the angels.
