Our family moved to Sandy in 1983 and lived in same neighborhood as the Sharps for 18 years. My son, Mike and Jacob were seven years old. They were good friends and I always remember how polite and nice Jacob was and his wonderful smile. I think the kids in that Sandy neighborhood grew up as 80's children where they played in the gully, rode bikes and skateboards, belonged to sport teams, walked to and from elementary school and waited for school bus when they were older for transport to middle and high school.
I am sending my love to Debbie and Tom and family. And, sending love and comfort to Ericka and the children. Further, I am mentioning my children, Libby, Jenn, Mike and Heather who are heartbroken. They love Jake so much.
