Jacob Silas Sharp's Obituary
Jacob Silas Sharp, 46, of Sandy Utah, passed away May 6, 2023. He was born September 1,1976 to Thomas and Deborah Sharp.
Jake was the most loving and devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife Ericka; sons Riley, Dylan, Noah, Wyatt, and Axel.
Jake grew up in Sandy, Utah with three brothers and a sister. He made many lifelong friends from the neighborhood. After High School Jake went on to pursue his passion for computers. Jake worked with his friends on a newly developing software company that started him on a path to a new career.
A few years later, Jake found the love of his life, the woman who would stand by his side through thick and thin, Ericka.
Jake was a strong supporter of his childrens football and lacrosse games.
As a man of true generosity he would go out of his way to talk or help anyone he met. He was the most generous person we knew. A man with a simple taste of birkenstocks and t-shirts, he focused on providing his children with the best life possible without worrying about himself.
Jake was a truly great man whose impact will be forever felt by his family, who loves him dearly. He was a selfless man whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love will be forever ingrained in all he knew.
The funeral service will be held at Premier Funeral Services 67 East 8000 South Midvale, UT on May 16, at 11am. Graveside Murray Cemetery.
