One of the finest men I’ve known and my hero and mentor in life ever since I was a very young boy. I looked up to him in ever aspect of my life. He was and incredible example to me in family, church, and profession. We know Jim is in a very good place doing very good things. The Goodson Family loved Jim for so many reasons...his generosity, humility, his competitive spirit and readiness for fun. When our families were young, we looked forward to Jim's early Saturday morning visits, a box of donuts always in hand. We spent many hours on the tennis court with Jim, constantly amazed at his skill and prowess. We loved his kids, many of whom matched up in age with ours...and we remember the Foulger's announcement that they were expecting twins! So many good memories of travel and fun. Jim said it like it was, direct and to the point. Most of all, he loved to talk about his children; he was so proud of them. The first time I remember meeting Jim was after I was engaged to Eleanor‘s brother Toney. They invited us to their apartment for dinner and he welcomed me to the family with a kiss on my cheek and a hug. That sweet greeting continued through the years always accompanied by a kind word. Jim, Toney and I are thankful for your example of faithful service to the Lord and to family. We love you; and testify that this life isn’t the end, but just a moment in eternity. I first met Jim and his wife Elenor while they were serving as missionaries in Crawley, UK. They were teaching Temple prep classes and my wife and I were preparing for the temple. At the time my wife was pregnant with our daughter Amy. Not only did they invite us out to dinner but they left a basket of baby clothes and toys for our daughter. We watched conference one year with them at the apartments on the London Temple grounds.
These memories will live forever with my family. Your father could not have made a more loving lasting impact on our lives and I hope that he knew how much of a blessing he was to us at an unnerving time.

I knew James through the amazing legacy of his daughter, Tiffany. The Foulger family is so full of kindness, loyalty, curiosity, and spirituality, and I have no doubt that was because of James and his sweet wife
It's easy to remember this smiling, funny, kind and generous man, and it was always fun cheering for the Utes football team with him in Jamie's and Craig's BYU blue home! Jamie and Eleanor, my prayers are with you and your family.

The Shapiros have been blessed to know Jim and the Foulger family for at least 35 years. He was one of the best men I have ever known-smart, caring, and always with a smile on his face. May his memory be a blessing to the entire Foulger family, and may God comfort the grieving family among all the mourners in Zion and Jerusalem.
