I only knew Jim for a very short time but he left a very strong impression on me with his stories of his life and how proud he was of his children and grand childen and of course his caring gifts of jolly ranchers when he came into the office to see the staff at The Ivy in Draper.
Jim brought so much joy and happiness to all of us here at The Ivy during his stay, we miss his presence dearly.
Jim was a delight to be around. Even if he was upset he had a way of keeping it jovial. He unfortunately wasn't in our lives here at The Ivy A Draper for very long but nevertheless he will be sorely missed. When we had the big rain storm and water was coming in through the bottom floor doors as fast as we were cleaning it up, he came out offering towels to soak up the water and help create a barrier and offering water to those that were working. Such a kind and sweet soul. Heaven gained a true angel. Thank you Jim for the opportunity to get to know you. Blessing to all that had the chance to be in your presence. ~ Annette Lake
