Aunt Jean lived next door to us. I have so many happy memories of her and her family. She was a dramatic reader and we loved to hear her read stories to us which she often did. We often hiked together up at grandpa's property in Big Cottonwood Canyon. She was such a joy to be around. I especially enjoyed her home made ice cream and unlimited fresh strawberries that she shared with the neighborhood and with her teacher friends from school. She was kind and so happy. Aunt Jean, we love you and anticipate a happy reunion with you some day. You certainly graduated with honors. -- Your nephew, Stan

I have been privileged to know Jean (and Harvey) since 1981. My two oldest daughters were in her drama classes at Bonneville Jr. High. My girls loved Mrs. Lloyd and as I came to know her (Harvey and I worked together) I soon knew why she had so favorably impressed my daughters. She was pleasingly blunt and could sport a twinkle in her eye that would temper the meanest of hearts. I spent many hours in their living room just talking about life and it’s foibles. It was a privilege to know them both. May God bless Jean’s family at this difficult time.
