Rosemary, I am so sorry! I wish I'd have seen this sooner! And I didn't realize you'd also lost even brother Jerry. I can't remember a time when we were at Taylor elem. that we didn't hang out at your warm and welcoming house, because of your Mother's goodness. I was a bit of a waif, and she made me feel like family! I hope you have felt the comfort of the spirit in her passing!
Grandma Jeane was an amazing woman! I am so thankful I was able to have her in my classroom at Taylor School to work with my students for so long! Our students were lucky to have such a caring person to help them with their reading and to help them find books. I am a better person because I know Grandma Jeane. She has been missed at Taylor School the past few years, now we will miss seeing her blue truck driving the streets of Payson. Love and miss you! Tara Hunt

I worked with Jeane on the "Friends of the Library" here in Payson for many years. She became a dear friend. I looked forward to being with her every week and working on different projects. She was a hard, honest worker. She had a passion for anything that helped children. She was loyal and steady. She rarely missed a meeting. Reading about her today has brought back many memories of such a loving, kind lady. I love my memories of her. I extend my sympathy to her family. May you know that she was a hero of children!
My sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. Jeane was my grandmother Iris Tervort Lindstrom's niece and I have fond memories of going to her home in Payson and even helping with some of the many quilts she did in her 'spare' time. I still use the quilt she made me more than 30 years ago. I would also go with her on Memorial Day and help place irises from her yard on all of the family graves.
