Jeane Tervort Lundholm's Obituary
Jeane Tervort Lundholm of Payson passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 13 2012 at the age of 92. Born February 5, 1920 in Payson to Clyde and Hattie Tervort, Jeane was a friend to many in a city she adored. On November 9, 1951 she married Francis “Dale” Lundholm. Together they adopted four Native American children (2 sons and 2 daughters) as well as cared for many foster children in their home. Jeane graduated from Payson High in 1938 and did her part to support the war effort during WWII by working at Camp Roberts in California and at Geneva Steel. Jeane earned a nursing degree in 1951 and worked at Payson Hospital until she retired in 1974. Full of character and convictions, Jeane influenced all who were blessed to associate with her. She truly led by example and wore out her life in the service of her family, her faith and her community. Jeane is survived by her daughter and son-in-law David and Rosemary Warner of Payson: siblings Dorothy Jones, Beverly Jacobsen (Ted), Carol Bennett (Ralph) Paul Tervort (Mary Jo), Louis Tervort (Carol). 7 Grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and husband. Her sons Jerry and Randy Lundholm; daughter Gloria Jeane; siblings Marilyn Van, Franklin and Gordon Tervort. Also two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 19 2012 at 11:00 am at the Payson 3rd Ward Chapel, 274 S. Main St. Viewing will be Thursday October 19 2012 from 6:00-8:00pm and Friday 9:45-10:45 am at the Church. Burial will be in the Payson Cemetery.
