Jeannette Page Hawkes' Obituary
Jeannette Page Hawkes, 49, of Cedar Hills, Utah passed away on her birthday, January 3, 2017 surrounded by her family and friends following a battle with breast cancer. Jeannette was born on January 3, 1968 in Wilmington, Delaware. She was welcomed by her parents, M. Grant Page and Gladys (Butterfield) Page and 5 adoring siblings.
Jeannette graduated from Bingham High School in 1986 where she participated on the dance and debate teams. She also attended BYU.
She met the love of her life, Roger Allan Hawkes, while working at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on February 25, 1988. Before they knew it their family had added four children. Jeannette always considered this her greatest accomplishment. Family was everything to Jeannette and she loved being a wife and mother.
Jeannette was a lifelong member of the LDS Church and served in various capacities over the years and loved serving others and the Lord. She was a ray of sunshine and brought happiness everywhere she went.
Jeannette is survived by her husband of 28 years, Roger Hawkes; her four children, Allan and wife Becky of Rexburg, ID, Lauren, Megan and Grant; her parents, M. Grant Page and Gladys Butterfield Page; her 6 siblings, Teresa Palmer, Karen (Kevin) Osborne, Karla (Jeff) Conley, Greg (Cynthia) Page, Brian (Kathy) Page, Court (Kate) Page; 19 nieces and nephews and 26 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 10 at 11:00 am at the Cedar Hills Utah Stake Center, 3950 W Cedar Hills Dr. There will be a viewing starting at 9:30 am the day of the funeral and an additional viewing the night before, Monday January 9th, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the same location.
