Jed, I remember meeting you down at Buck's market next to Cyprus. I enjoyed golfing with and seeing you up at Lagoon once in a while. It seemed you were always around town to say hello to. Rest in peace my friend.

Jed I miss the good times we had together at Cyprus high with Football and wrestling. Coach Preece or as you called him Judas Preece had me wrestle you and other dudes heavier than me to toughen me up. I didn’t spend as much time with you as I would have liked do to our different careers but I can truly say whenever we got back together it was a strong bond. God bless you bro. Gonzo
My family visited and stayed with Jed's family on numerous occasions when we traveled from Boise to the Salt Lake area for family vacations, including when they were digging out a basement so they could expand their Magna house for an expanding family, and their family stayed with us when they visited Boise. We were close cousins. Jed was always such a fun "little guy!" Over the years, he grew from being a "little guy" into a "big guy" but, through all his growing, he never outgrew a wonderful smile and a twinkle in his eyes. I've always appreciated his genuineness and his kindness. Whenever I was with Jed, I felt "safe." Jed, I'm sad you were called home so early and I will miss your gentle demeanor and comforting laugh but, as the apostle Paul said, "you fought a good fight," and I'm happy you can be with your mom and dad, and mine, on the other side. Until we meet again, my friend...
One of my favorite life memories is because of Jed’s goodness! My family and I were able to witness a very deserving, sweet family receive Christmas from the man in the red suit. I am so grateful for the goodness of Jed’s heart. Thank you Jed ❤️ Steph
Jed used to love to ski and play in the snow as well. Many adventures as a powder hound searching untracked snow at Mary's Follies up at Brighton. Both of us trying to not fall off the cliffs, only to find our chute. One time he started a large snow slide above me that carried, and pinned me against a tree up to my neck, I couldn't move! He had to come and unbury me, essentially saving me. It was a close call. Thank you Jed. :))
Jed and I grew up together working paper routes, shoveling snow off driveways to play basketball or football or baseball or golf at Paul's Par 3 or wrestle and battle each other. He and I did many things together. Jed was a fighter, he enjoyed putting his feet down and test his metal. He loved his daughters and wife (while married). He taught me the joys and shared tips in playing Santa, how to say a deep HO HO HO with feeling, especially to children with extreme difficulties. He loved our Mother and honored her up to his passing, by watching or listening to the Tabernacle Choir Broadcast weekly. We shared many early mornings and evenings working and playing football, especially pass patterns with Dad. One thing I admired was his commitment to earn and pay his way. Self-reliance was his theme. He especially admired Carl Cloward and family, how they extended and included Jed on many family adventures and vacations. Thank you Carl and Lynette and children. :) I'm sorry to Jed for passing away at such a young age. Hopefully we'll see each other again and correct misunderstandings and grow closer to God and our families. May your reunion with Taylor, Mom and Dad, Uncle Bud and Grandma Ogden and Grandpa Ogden, whom he didn't meet on earth. Find that joy as promised by our Father in Heaven, through Jesus Christ. I see him preparing himself to greet other family members as they transition from mortal life. Until then, Ho, Ho, Ho. may God continue to bless and watch over you.
Jed was my next door neighbor in West Valley for many years. He was so nice. My deepest heartfelt condolences to his girls and family. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.
Jed was a Gentle Giant. He always took care of others before himself. I will always remember the time he made sure neighbor children were fed along with the rest of the family when he BBQ'd at his house next to the golf course. Many good times were spent at his house back in the day. He is going to be missed!
Jed used to be in the same ward years ago. He was such a nice guy. Sympathy to the family.
