We would love to have you join us to share memories of our dad ❤️
Jerry was more than my cousin, he was the brother I never had, a great friend and confidant. We could talk forever solving all the problems in the world. Tons of laughter and some tears over memories shared. He always kept me up to date on the Manning side of the family. We would brag about our kids and grandkids. He was always the first to wish me a happy birthday. Our conversations always ended with "love ya kid". You will be so missed. Rest in peace. Love ya kid, Jaylene
I’ve been blessed with the good fortune to have had Jerry as a good friend for over 60 years. In our younger years we did most everything together from work to play and everything in-between. As we got older and life gets in the way we weren’t able to do the things we done in our younger years. Though we may have only seen each other a few times a year it didn’t mean we weren’t still close. The conversations we’d have were deep and in depth with the exception of when he was getting sick, he didn’t want to let on that he was having problems. For that I am truly embarrassed that I hadn’t stayed better in touch and been closer to him in that time. Kim, Carolyn and the kids, thank you for taking care of him! What he did want to talk about was the kids and grandkids! Haylee, Mason and Lucas your dad was so proud of each of you! I didn’t see much of you guys in recent years but always knew what was going on as he would tell me about your lives and what was going on just beaming with pride!
Jerry – Rest in Peace my friend, we’re all better for having known you! Give my best to Stick and Marg!

The day Jerry was born the nurse came out. And said "Mr. McCracken, you're finally getting your boy!" Daddy asked how she knew and she said he was coming breech. Daddy said "It could be a finger..." But it was true, he got his boy. He went out and bought a brand new blue and white Ford. He came home and waxed the living room window proclaiming "IT'S A BOY". We were all so proud of you Jerry. Proud to call you Brother and Friend. You may be out of sight for now but you will live forever in our hearts and our fond memories of you. Rest in peace beloved. Rest in peace.
