Jerry Lee McCracken "Twig"'s Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Lee McCracken on February 21, 2026.
Jerry was born on September 29, 1956, in Ogden to Wilbur and Margaret McCracken. He was the youngest of five children and the only boy. Jerry graduated from Roy High School, Class of 1974.
For most of his life, Jerry worked as a skilled brick and block mason, a trade he took great pride in. His strong work ethic and craftsmanship left a lasting mark on many homes and buildings throughout the community.
Jerry was full of life and had a gift for making people laugh. He was easygoing, kind-hearted, and always ready for a good time. He truly never met a stranger. He loved the outdoors and found joy in horses, hunting, camping, fishing, golfing, and just about any adventure outside.
A man of many talents, Jerry was an exceptional leather craftsman and an immaculate guitar player. He had an incredible ear for music — he could listen to almost any song and immediately begin strumming along. Music and laughter followed him wherever he went.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest sister, Diana.
He is survived by his partner, Kim McCracken; his three children, Lucas (Crystal), Mason (Sarah), and Haylee (Jordan); and his three beloved grandchildren, Atticus, Maddison, and Sierra. He is also survived by his sisters, Margie, Katherine, and Carolyn.
Jerry will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his laughter, his music, his craftsmanship, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.
There will be a celebration of life in the near future.
