John "Johnny" Burns' Obituary
John "Johnny" Burns, 70, motored off into the sunset on June 14, 2023, leaving behind countless family & friends who meant the world to him and let's not forget his beloved fur baby, Panda.
He was born on October 7, 1952, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Fay Pahl Burns and John Edward Burns.
Johnny always had a wild side and could often be found cruising on his motorcycle, feeling the wind in his hair or shooting pool at local bars with friends. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, shooting his gun and having a cool beer with those dear to him. He was a man with many talents and he sure lived life to the fullest. If you needed a helping hand, you could always count on Johnny. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. His adventurous spirit and love for life will be missed by all who knew him.
Johnny is survived by his children: Michael (Jennifer) Burns and Katie (Tyler) Driggs; his 7 grandchildren: Kaitlynn & Korbin Driggs, Linzee & Lexi Smith, Zailee, August & Bentley Burns. His sisters: Pauline (Jay) Newman, Debbie (Randy) Peterson & Linda Burns as well as his brothers: Edward (Natalie) Burns & Marty (Heather) Burns.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Fay Pahl Burns & father: John Edward Burns & many others who passed before him.
We would give special thanks to Paramount Rehab for their gentle care during his last days & well as Inspiration Home Health & Hospice especially his nurse Regan Erickson who’s compassion meant the world to all of us.
Don't miss the chance to rev up your engines and say goodbye to Johnny. The family invites all who knew and loved Johnny to attend and say their final goodbyes.
