It is getting to be almost 2 years now that John has passed on time sure moves fast. I met John at a Lan party at Chad Fernley's house many years ago we played Command and Conquer and Warcraft on the computers and it was the best times to be had. I spent many hours in the movie theaters with John for a while I had a great deal for him. A free movie just had to buy a concession. I miss those days.
I first met John while working at Harland Clarke. We needed someone new to add to our team and I was helping with the interviewing. John just had a way with talking and knew he would be great for our team. We talked and watched football together. He was a Steelers fan and I was Chiefs. At one point we started a T-shirt business although it didn't sell much. He also did my taxes when it came to tax time and always gave me friends and family discount. I left Harland to start a career in IT so I didn't see much of John after that. Last Text I had was in August where he wanted me to help write a program for him. We never did. I regret not spending more time as John was a really good friend. I will greatly miss him.
John, my friend, my brother. You have left this life and returned home to a joyous and loving reunion. May you go about your work diligently. I pray that you will continue to watch over each of us as we continue on this experience of our own. You may not be finding the best places to eat anymore but I'm sure you are looking forward to helping each of us as our time comes to join you again. You are loved and missed.
