Share "A" memory? I don't know if it's possible to share just one but I will try. My grandpa has always been & will always be extremely special to me! He & my grandma raised me until I was 5 or 6 years old. After that, they would always take me on weekends & in the summer when grandpa went for his 2 weeks to military bases in California & Louisiana. He always liked joking around with his silly, grandpa humor. He would continuously tell me & others one story (even though I was there LOL!) about one of those trips when we were on our way to California. We stopped at a 3 way stop & he asked me which way we should go. I put my hands, the outside of my palms together on the inside with my thumbs pointed facing outwards & said, "that way" & grandpa & grandma laughed & laughed. He told that story so many times! I know that was a very fond memory for him, which is why I wanted to tell it now.
My grandpa was a very special person! He & my grandma have always meant the world to me! He is going to be missed, not only by myself but a lot of others, this I know. I love you, grandpa! Rest in peace, you're my guardian angel now.
