Jose Franco's Obituary
Jose (Guero)
Life was too short for our beloved Jose Franco. Our Father in heaven took him home at age 38. His struggle with asthma landed him in the hospital where he passed away on 2/21/21.
Cause of death is pending.
Jose is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Guadalupe and Enedina, Aunts Edelmira and Teresa, Uncle Hector, and half sibling Holda.
Jose is survived by his parents Franco and Rosa, his siblings Carlos (Tina) and Becky (Jerry), his nephew and nieces Dominic, Bella, and Alex, his half siblings Pilo, Mo, Alberto, Marco, Roel, Leo, Nora, Silvia, Maria, and Idelia.
Jose loved to fish, hike and go four wheeling with his friends. Jose was very adventurous and loved the outdoors. Jose was shy at first but once you earned his trust he was a loyal friend.
Jose was known for his pranks that brought him great joy and laughter. If he ever got you with a prank one could never stay angry at him for too long.
Jose started his roofing career and received his high school diploma in 2013.
Jose last occupation was a street sweeper for Excel Sweeping.
Jose had many hardships in life. He later turned his life around and accomplished what we knew he was capable of. Jose loved to learn and was very bright and talented.
Jose enrolled in the welding and fabrication program at SLCC after graduating the First Step House in October of 2019.
His family was and is very proud of his accomplishments. We were all excited for his bright future.
Jose, you will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Fly high little bro!
