Julius loved God and embraced the Atonement of Jesus Christ and used this beautiful hymn to soothe his soul during his excruciating pain. “I need thee ev’ry hour, most gracious Lord. No tender voice like thine can peace afford. I need thee, oh, I need thee, every hour I need thee! Oh, bless me now, my Savior; I come to thee.” Julius leaves a legacy of love, a legacy of faith. and a legacy to serve with all your heart, might mind and soul.
When Julius passed, Kehau summed love perfectly with this post “It’s been a long road with you, and I would do it ALL over again in a heartbeat. Until we meet again on that glorious day. Go and run, be happy and know we love you and you will be missed for sure. Thank you for all the blessings and great memories. I love you Julius Skipps my hero and my eternal companion.”
