Karen and my mother were best friends throughout her life. I remember going to Utah for a visit with my mother around the age of 9. Suzy, about my age, I believe introduced me to eating a coconut. I was so perplexed by the experience...lol. I recall Karen and Tony being very in love. I know my mother still has a photo of herself and Karen peering out behind a tree wearing the same purple t-shirt next to her bed. They must have been in their 50s or 60s, if not older when it was taken. Our condolences to the family. Michele (daughter of Nancy Kimps/Plettner)
I will always remember Aunt Kay as sweet, but sassy. She did things her way and if you didn't like it, well that was your problem. She had a heart of gold and was also just a little stubborn. Her favorite comeback was "Bet me!!!". She loved her family and her Packers. She will be dearly missed ❤️
