I recall Kay calling my grandmother (June) on the phone quite frequently. Kay was animated, excited and happy when she was able to talk to my grandmother. She always had an update on the neighborhood gossip or a tidbit on what was happening with the family. Kay had a special place in my grandmothers heart (as she did with her other sisters).
