I met the Ancells when I was 13. My parents had built a house on Bonita Way across the Briarwood Street from the Ancells. They moved in a little after us. We have been neighbors for 52 years! When you have wonderful neighbors for that long it becomes family. It just won’t be the same not seeing Ken everyday. ❤️
I enjoyed knowing, visiting with the family and working together in different church callings. I always felt welcomed when I would visit them in their home. Always felt his love and friendship whenever we were together. My heart goes out to the family and miss your friendship. I'm looking forward to visit with Ken on the other side someday.

Uncle Ken was so cool, I remember him being basically a jungle gym for us kids. He would pick us up, spin us around and throw us in the air! He was so tall, it felt like he was a Lagoon ride, and all of us kids would beg to be the next one to take a ride!
I remember how funny he was too, but very quiet so you would have to really pay attention, or you’d miss his hilarious comment or joke. I have such warm memories about him.
My heart goes out to the family for the loss of this sweet, gentle giant. Thinking of you during this difficult time.

I first met Ken on Jan. 2, 1990 when I first started work at Unisys in the same department as Ken. Over time, we formed a bonding friendship that has lasted these last 34 years.
Ken and I spent many hours talking about airplanes, guns, marksmanship, children, politics, church activities and service and many, many other topics. In fact, I found Ken to be an intelligent and well rounded individual that enjoyed discussions on many different subjects.
The most striking attribute Ken had was that he always respected everyone he met and would greet all with a smile and a kind word. It was always a pleasure to greet Ken at the beginning of each work day because he made you feel good with his pleasant response. Ken could counted on to study a particular problem and offer a well thought out response.
I will always remember and respect Ken for the great man he was. We have lost one of the best! I will miss his warm friendship.

Ken and I shared many wonderful times doing the things we both loved. I will miss those times but I still have those memories.
I was a friend of Dave’s in high school. I would come hang out with Dave often at his home. His dad - Ken- was always so kind to me and always made me feel welcome. I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his loved ones.
