Korey was such a sweet and amazing kid. I enjoyed the time I had to get to know him. Even though it was Christmas night and he was away from his family, he was one to bring comfort to those around him by his playful personality. He had us all laughing when he borrowed a peers penguin onesie to strut around the house house in.
I also remember him being someone who took great pride in his appearance. So much so, he wasn’t afraid to throw a face mask on. I found it quite humerus when I saw him in a face mask for the first time. Big buff Korey, walking around the house with a face mask on, getting his glow on.
He was a special guy! The last couple times I talked to him, he was bragging about how amazing his girlfriend is and how much he loved his son. I know there is nothing that will ease the pain the family is feeling however I pray you find some comfort from knowing how much he was cared for and the joy he brought his peers.
