We dated in high school. He shared many secrets from his life that troubled him. We went to the drive in movie, "Planet of the Apes" the night before he left for boot camp.
Always stubborn, he got into trouble and had to stand at attention for several hours and sing. He sent me letters with drawings of himself sitting on his bed in the briq.
We had some great times and some sad times. I didn't know until today he had passed. Hugs and prayers to all his family.
