Leanne Lonczyna's Obituary
Leanne Lonczyna, age 50, passed away from cancer on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on August 28, 1969, in Panorama City, California, to Longin (Lonnie) Jr. and Marsha Duce Lonczyna. She was the eldest sister of six siblings and survived by: Alisa Michele, Brian Longin, Lara (Jose) Leon, Christy, and Russell James. Beloved aunt to Kianna Ruark, Alexander and Ava Leon. Best friend and companion to Shawn Vasquez. Leanne was raised in West Jordan, Utah. She was of the first graduating class of West Jordan High School. Leanne had many things she enjoyed doing. She loved camping, doing crafts, cross-stitching, puzzles, drying of flowers, making wreaths and floral arrangements. She found joy in service to others and especially helping with yard work. She loved being with her nieces and nephew. Although Leanne had a challenging life, she found a way to not give up. “Pee-Wee” was a gentle, kind soul that will be missed by those who knew her. A viewing will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at Premier Funeral Services, 67 East 8000 South in Midvale from 11:00 -12:30. A graveside service will be held that same day at West Jordan Cemetery, 1300 West 7800 South at 1:00. Social distancing will be practiced; we understand if you’re not able to attend and we know you’ll be thinking of us.
