Lee will be missed by so many people. Family, friends, virtual friends, his beautiful dogs and by me. It is my regret that I never met Lee, but felt a very strong connection to him through his blog, his gorgeous photos and the voice of Harley. He made a difference in my life without my ever meeting him. I cannot imagine the impact if we had. Love and sympathy to Jan and the boys. Jane A.
Thank you Lee for your wonderful photos and your gracious hospitality during my visit. You have such class with everything you do, be it capturing beauty with a camera or just being yourself. I am honored to have known you and I will miss you. Goddess Bless )O(
Dear Jan, Harley and Beau,
I am so glad I had the honor of meeting Lee with you in Vermont. His sense of humor is what I always think about Lee.
I think of Lee every day when I come downstairs and see his Horseman Photo hanging above my fireplace.
He will be sorely missed by many.
Much love
Peebs
You've earned the right to rest easy now Lee and I'm so sorry you had to leave at the very young age of 66. It was a privilege to have met you, through Facebook, and to have enjoyed your sharp wit and humour there, especially in WDJ. I'm only just now learning about your photography. I send love to Jan, Harley and Beau, all of whom are going to have a gap in their lives now.
When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.
May it help to know that friends are sharing the sorrow in your heart.
Jan, Just to let you know you're in my thoughts. So very sorry on the loss of Lee, he was a wonderful gentleman. Love from, Karen and family and Daisy and Bobby greyhounds send lots of love too xxx
I first met Lee through The Motley Fool website, then later met him and Jan in real life when I moved to Utah.
Lee was an amazing man--kind and smart and funny. I have a photo he took of the leaves in the fall that I will always treasure.
Jan--I send my love to you and "the boys".
We never met Lee but I knew you for three years and admired the gentleman that you were . Your photographs took me to places I will never see in the real world ... Your kindness ,thoughtfulness and humour shone through . Rest easy dear friend I have been privileged to know you .
God speed Lee. No longer sick - fly free over the lands you once loved. You are deeply missed.
