Linda Ann Fox Hansen's Obituary
Linda Ann Fox Hansen was born on September 28, 1947 in Price, Utah. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on June 17, 2021 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Growing up in Orangeville, UT, Linda had a happy childhood with her sister Peggy and many lifelong friends. She married David Nelson Hansen in the Salt Lake City Temple on May 19, 1967. David and Linda had 5 children, each one believing they were her favorite child. David and Linda lived in 5 states and have many friends from Utah, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Alabama, and Michigan.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities using her many gifts and talents. She could sew, sing, cook and throw amazing parties. She was a talented pianist and an exceptional accompanist and she was always happy to share this gift with anyone who needed a pianist or accompanist. As a piano teacher, she taught numerous children to play piano and develop a love of music.
Her legacy is a lifetime of service and love. She was a friend to all who knew her. She could always tell you a funny story from her life and had a wonderful sense of humor and was quick to laugh. Most of all, she loved being a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. Words can’t express the depth of our loss and how much we will miss her.
Although there were some dreams that were cut short by Alzheimer’s disease, she lived her life to the fullest and she had no regrets. She was a happy, vivacious person who loved life. Early in their marriage, she and Dad had a deal that he would make the money and she would keep the family together. The greatest testament to her success was that, in the end, all her children were with her when she passed.
She is predeceased by her beloved parents, Alice Dee Bailey and Jesse Eliot Fox. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, David; her only sister, Peggy Lue Fox Clark (William); and her children, Rebecca Ann Hansen Stewart (Ken), Christina Hansen Golding-Jewett (Mark), Jason David Hansen (Heather), Mary Elizabeth Hansen Jones (Mickey), and Allyson Jane Hansen, 14grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
