Lisa Michelle Nishimoto's Obituary
Lisa Michelle Nishimoto
June 8, 1958 to Jan 26, 2023
Lisa’s husband called her his little bee. And she has flown away back to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 26, 2023. She was a fighter and fought for every minute and breath she had on this earth. She was fiery and spicy like the kimchi that she loved. She was born in Seoul, Korea to Louis Regis and Im Joon Park. She moved to Hawaii when she was three years old and grew up there. There she met the love of her life, Paul (Takeo) Nishimoto and they have been together ever since. They married December 29, 1990 at Copperton, Utah.
Her life was filled with challenges that she boldly worked through, and kept a deep sense of loyalty, and love. She loved to cook, and feed people, and would say “Mangia, Mangia!” or eat up. She was a wonderful wife, and put up with her “little crab”, Paul. She loved all things Hawaiian, and missed the Islands and the people there. She loved dogs, and they were like her kids.
There will be a Memorial Gathering on February 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints building at 4240 West 5215 South.
