“This is where the cowboy rides away”
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lonny Neal Casey, a man whose vibrant spirit and unwavering love touched the lives of so many. Lonny passed away peacefully surrounded by the people he loved most, on June 4, 2024, at the age of 65.
Lonny was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Eileen, and a cherished father to his children, and a fun-loving papa to his grandchildren. He took immense pride in his family's accomplishments and fiercely protected them with a love that knew no bounds. His legacy of love, laughter, and persistence will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. As we bid farewell to Lonny, we celebrate the wonderful memories he created and the indelible mark he left on our lives.
We as a family are beyond grateful that he pushed so hard to give us more time with him. We know that it was not easy for him, but he did it because he loved us so much.
As we say "see you later" let us honor Lonny by carrying forward his legacy of kindness, by embracing each day with hope, and by cherishing the bonds that unite us. Until we meet again, papa your memory will forever be a guiding light in our lives.
Lonny is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Eileen, his children Amanda (Kenny), Samantha (Luis), Adreanna (RJ), Lonny (Jessica), Megan (Jacob), Chase (Diana), Juan, Manuel, 12 grandchildren, and many friends that became his family.
Proceeded in death by many beloved family members.
We want to give a very heartfelt thank you to the ICU staff at Timpanogos Regional Hospital for the amazing, and loving care that they gave not only Lonny, but our family as well. We also are so very grateful to the strangers that stopped to render aid before the first responders could arrive. To the first responders and police officers thank you as well for helping our family we will forever be grateful.
Lonny wouldn’t want a formal affair so please wear bright colors, Hawaiian shirts, or University of Utah shirts, and come as you are.
A viewing and memorial service to honor Lonny's life will be held on Friday June 7, 2024, from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Premier Funeral Services located at 67 East 8000 South, Midvale, UT 84047. Your spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
