I just found this and hope someone is still checking to see new messages. Cousin Lyle was part of my life from day one. Living across the street growing up, there are so many fun memories. I know he had a special relationship with my parents like I did with his. I'm sure I was the pesky little cousin but he never made me feel that way. As a teenager, I would bring my friends to visit him and Pat and their precious new baby (Tina) at their apt uptown...still the pest but it was so fun. Always so much laughter & entertainment. Instantly loved Pat, too. Then so happy when they built their house across the street and their family grew. We both chose to move away from Iowa but whenever our paths crossed when back for visits, it was like no time had passed. Still the loving, funny and sometimes a bit ornery cousin I knew and loved. Pat, Tina, Tony & Tiffany (and families), he was the best. My heart aches for your loss. Hugs to you all but a special big hug to you, Pat. Love you.
