I was sad to see Marguerite's obituary today. I surely would have attended her funeral if I had seen it seen it sooner. She's a wonderful, talented person and did so many kind things for our family. To Marguerite's family, this very day I used a recipe of your mother's, her famous CARROT CAKE! It is a favorite of our family now and always will be.
I loved your mother very much. When I think of her and your Dad Dean I remember her wonderful cooking and the times they and my folks had together as neighbors and close friends. Even in the past few years when her health was declining, she always had a smile on her face and tears of gratitude in her eyes for a personal visit. I will miss her, but I will remember her. She was one of the best ladies I have known.

Our entire family thought your mother was wonderful. She was a very kind person and had a way of making everyone feel special. My husband and I would visit her at the Assisted Living Center and we looked forward to seeing her....we will miss this very sweet and special friend. I don't believe I have passed her home when I haven't thought about her sitting in her wing back chair with a dog at her side. She was a special lady and she will be missed. Our Aunt "Miggs" always had us out for Christmas Eve. We had so much fun playing with her girls and eating her wonderful cooking. It was our favorite tradition. We wore out the dining-room table playing ping pong on it. She was so organized and loved that we had fun there. Our trips to Yellowstone every summer were a great tradition too. Uncle Dean and Daddy weren't the best fishermen, but we loved the freedom and the bears!
