I knew Marsha as an amazing friend . She was a friend , a confident , and often shared in adventures with me . I met her ib San Francisco back in the 70's when she worked for the government . We often visited over dinners at new discovered restaurants and if we enjoyed them , we would take our other friends to enjoy them . Marsha loved the countryside and coastline out and away from the city and often spent her weekends up Highway 101 or the Coast highway 1 . She loved the small quiet villages up north of the city where she said the "real people " lived . One of her favorite hamlets was Layyonville ., California . Marsha loved to walk along the streams and muse around the small ponds and meadows out in the country . She loved the animals she saw and sometimes had a cache of peanuts and sunflower seeds to entice the little critters to come say Hi .
Marsha loved the live theater and often went to plays at the A C T on Gery Blvd in the city and she would go see the Nutcracker three or four times a season. In the city , she loved to watch the mime troops and street artists and often purchased items from the handiwork like scarves , matching hat or a piece of jeweler she watched an artist make to her specifications . . Marsha often went to Fisherman's Wharf or Gheridelli Square just to watch the tourists having a good time . One of her favorite things to do was to go to the outside concerts and sit on a grassy hillside and just to the beautiful music .
Marsha was a wonderful Free Sprit always looking for another way to enjoy life and share it with others . The weekends of September would find her at the Rennanisance Fair in Muir Woods just outside Sausolito .
I moved to Salt Lake in 74 and lost contact with Marsha . Eventually , Marsha moved to Salt Lake and she occasionally visited with my wife and me
. About 85 , I lost contact with her because I moved to Provo . Marsha moved and I didn't have her new address and no phone number . I often thought about my old friend and I have often tried to find her . I took a chance and looked in the obituaries . I am so very sorry that Marsha has returned to Heavenly Father . I can't imagine your sorrow and emptiness . A special part of my heart has gone numb finding her gone . I am so sorry that I didn't know and wasn't there for her . Marsha is one if Heavenly Father's beautiful creations .
May God's love and Spirit always be with your family . May God hold you and yours in the Palm of His Hand .
In Sorrow and reflection ,
Warren Miller
