As a member of our ward, Marshall applied himself to tasks with superior abilities and determination. He was very considerate of others. I did not know him well, but I admired what I knew about him.

Marshall was special to Nancy and I. I had the pleasure of being a Home Teacher in the Lundberg home for much of Marshall's growing up years. We just want all of you to know that our prayers are with you. This is a difficult time for all of you but we know that your faith in, and knowledge of, God's eternal plan will sustain you during this time of sorrow. Elder Lundberg was a wonderful missionary. We were privileged to serve with him in the Brazil São Paulo North Mission. This kind, wonderful young man served well. He magnified the talents the Lord gave him. Brazil is a better place because of his missionary service there. And we are better people for serving with him. Marshall was one of the BEST missionaries that I ever knew in the Brasil Sao Paulo North Mission. When I met him, we became friends immediately. He was the most hard working, loving, caring missionary I knew and he helped me through some tough times. After the mission we were able to meet up and go to some BYU football games and chat on the phone and a few times I came in to Maceys to visit him. He was always hard working. He was such an amazing example to me. A dedicated man, great friend, loving husband and fantastic father. He has an amazing family. I will miss him. The world will never be the same without him.
Marshall was one of the finest people I have had the privilege of knowing and working and serving with. I didn't know him but for a brief few years. But he touched my life permanently. We talked and sent texts a lot. Talked of how we had many things in common and thought a lot alike. We both came from large families. I was number 7 of 8 kids with older siblings. We talked about how we both appreciated that. I will miss you buddy. Look forward to a great reunion when that time comes. Myself and my family too will watch over yours with the many others here who will.

Marshall was a true gentleman and a loyal husband. He was quick to stand up for his family and appreciative of everyone that showed kindness to them. He had a calm and quiet spirit. He was kind...always kind in his interactions.
