I was so sad to learn the news of Mary Lou‘s passing, we have been trying to connect over the past few months and just kept hitting and missing.
However in the middle of my heartbreaking, I just remembered how wonderful her relationship with Mike was and I imagine on Friday there was a huge reunion full of happiness laughs and love. That’s the image. I’m keeping in my heart.
I was going through the roughest time in my life. It was Thanksgiving and I didn't have anywhere to go. Not only did Mary Lou and Mike invite me into their home, they treated me like family. They were both so genuine, loving, caring and kind. Going to their home felt like an escape and refuge from the darkness in the world. I am incredibly grateful to have met them and for the memories of laughter and love I will always cherish. Sending love to all their family and friends.
Mary Lou had such a big heart. I loved being around her. I had a great opportunity to sit down with her and Mike and record some of their life. Also worked with Mary Lou on her family history. It was so fun to learn about her life. She is greatly missed.
I am so saddened to hear Mary Lou's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Mary Lou for many years. She was a good friend. We had so many laughs over the years. She was always cracking jokes, I loved her dry sense of humor. She was a dear friend. Her a Mike were such great people and she missed him greatly. She loved her dogs we always bonded in regards to our pets . I will miss her. My thoughts, prayers and love to her family.
